Perfect Zebras – Zebra (FLAC)

From 1983 and their other album, produced by Barry Andrews. More electronic and great bit of work.

The line-up;

  • Backing Vocals, Saxophone – Terry Stephens
  • Drums, Drum Programming – Mickie Burkey (Nine Below Zero)
  • Percussion – Peter Ross (Immaculate Fools)
  • Vocals, Guitar, Synthesizer – Paul Robertson (Opposition)
  • Vocals, Noises – Shrink (Chris Banks from The Secret)
  • Vocals, Percussion – Alan Jarry

Plenty of variety and slightly weird, a bit Shriekback and plenty of Linn Drum.

Loose lounge of “Weekend”, punk funk of “Shallow”, a bit Bowie on the opening track and a bit Oingo Boingo on the loose, dance tracks.

  1. Thank You, been wanting a good copy of “Fascination”, and as a bonus I got a couple additional interesting songs on this release. “My Submission” was the unexpected surprise gem for me. Couple songs are “out there”. Fun group, definitely not something we all will agree on what we like best.
