Nineties Wednesday has a definite early 90’s ambient dub feel today.
Six mixes from Youth and Greg Hunter of one of Sugarcubes last releases (August ’92) deconstructed and stripped apart the original Paul Fox produced “pop” track.
Track 1 skanks along with sub bass and dub and track 2 carries the theme on with added guitar. Track 3 is quite compressed with wind chimes added. Tracks 4 and 5 get more removed, even less vocals but plenty of dub and added keyboard riffs. The last track you can do what it says and meditate. No drums at all.
