From June 2011 and from New Jersey singer, songwriter and multi instrumentalist, Duncan Sheik.
Interpreting a dozen 80’s track in a mostly semi-acoustic style and quite organic but very faithful to the originals. Rachael Yamagata and
Holly Brook helping out on the vocals.
Perfect Sunday afternoon / evening listening.
Highlights being “Love Vigilantes”(New Order) and the haunting “Kyoto Song” (The Cure)
So the covers are not to obvious, “Stay” being from The Blue Nile.

Shame the DL# for both of these is so low, I blind bought the remix version on Amazon years ago and it is excellent.
Thank you … really interesting tracks
Thank you for this and the remix album. I’ve been wanting to hear these for some time.
