Not thinking that it isn’t any different to the 1985 re-release. However the production from Keith Forsey from the ’82 release is superb, the long 12″ version bloody amazing.
Combining synths and guitar it takes you on a rock trip with almost sarcastic lyrics from Idol. It sounds a bit like Sparks, “Beat The Clock” on Part 2.
The B-side is the gothy sounding “Hole In The Wall” an album track with more excellent guitar from Steve Stevens.
