ABC definitely had a lean period in the early 90’s. (as did a lot of successful 80’s bands) They did try to shape their sound for the time but maybe the record buying public were prejudice, “Why can they have a second bite of the cherry ?”
It didn’t get a release in the US even though it had a very edited Morales mix. The other mix was by Boilerhouse. ( Ben Wolff & Andy Dean) Is that not Phil Manzanera on guitar ? So they were not scrimping on getting the right people in. It did nothing in the charts.
B-side featured on the CD version as track 10 on the reissue and shows how slick the production was of Dave Bascombe with all the ABC trademarks and a nod to disco.

Enjoy yourself tomorrow. Happy B-Day🎂🍺!!
This one I never picked up, have to see how it sounds. Probably like the Say It 12” I still wonder about their Traffic album. Much aspreciated, thanks again mate!!!! 👍😀
There’s some great mixes on there, I think it’s #2 on side 2 that is percolating along quite nicely and then they kill it short with a fade out. Every time that I listen to that one I wonder if there is a fully un-truncated version of it floating around out there. Maybe I’ll find out if Vinny Vero every finishes his deluxe version of this one.
I agree entirely Tim !
Love Conquers All rates among my favorite ABC songs. The mixes are wonderful as well. ABC brought a rich Pop sound to House music on Abracadabra and it’s predecessor Up.
Hi.Could you Please re-up this 12”Maxi Vinyl?
