The Monroes – (Stay With Me) Jeanette (Extended Remix) (12″)

You can’t move for Norwegian bands in this day and age.

Here is the Nordic version of Go West !! (with an added Ska influence and apparently inspired by Madness)

From ’86 and they included just the duo of Eivind Rølles (vocals, guitar and percussion) and Lage Fosheim (vocals) , here produced by Bob Sargeant (Madness’ producer)

It was from the album, “Face Another Day” it seems Anne Dudley was involved a lot. Additional session muso’s were; Drums – Graham Ward (The Ward Brothers), Bass – Les Nemes (Haircut 100) Keys -Danny Schogger (The Noise Boyz)

It’s good extended mix, lush production and a definite Dudley influence. Weird subject, it’s about a pig who escaped a farm ?!?

The B-side is a slow, ballad. Emotional vocals and also an LP cut.”+Vinyl+-+1986.rar/file
