So the Rave Generation could dance to YMO via Altern 8, The Shamen, 808 State and chill with The Orb!
Altern 8 give Multiples a Fairground Ragga feel to it. Almost 8-Bit computer sounds. 808 State keep it very analogue but with those early 90’s layered beats. Nice, big chords and bit of “Voodoo Ray.”
The famous “Firecracker” gets some House beats and 808 but has the biggest bass. An interesting re-interpretation and keeping it quite faithful (the piano is still there) but including that Shamen jagged guitar sound.
The Orb dub everything out! Deep-ness in chopped up pieces.
