From 1987 and getting François Kevorkian and Michael Hutchinson to do the remixing. The Bunnymen were slowly embracing technology and the art of the twelve inch.
The 12″ mix bounces along with the louder drums and bass guitar. A great mix with enough different going on.
I’ve not had a Dub to listen to for a while, worth waiting for, love the guitar snippets.
“Rollercoaster” is a raunchy little number, with drummer Pete De Freitas getting a writing credit. Lots of energy and almost Iggy Pop-like vocals.

Screw the critics! My favorite Bunnymen tune and 12 inch… Thanks for posting!
First head this on a sampler album (Just Say Now series)… loved it back in the day (I overplayed it so now I can only take it in small doses). Those were great series (Just say … ).
Fell in love with this band during the Ocean Rain period (still one of my all-time favorite albums). I have this on 12″ but no rip of it, so this was a necessary addition. Thank you. I have seen the band twice since reforming, and while I am a bit soured on them if I just listen to the albums I’m still a big fan.
This is a classic. I don’t think I heard these mixes before either.
