Obscure band of the Month – World At A Glance.
One single, one album. The American quartet comprised of – Bass, Backing Vocals – Thaddeus Castanis, Drums, Percussion, Backing Vocals – Dougie Bowne, Guitar, Backing Vocals – Michael Lawrence and lead vocals – David Ilku. Added Keyboards – Jeff Bova and Steve Cohen.
The album was produced by Chris Lord-Alge and Robert Musso so the ingredients were there for a successful launch, even François Kevorkian remixed the opening track which also was their lead single.
The album all about Lawrence’s guitar and those excellent 80’s sounds.
It’s quite rocky in places, Goth in other places (Heaven’s Gate). Another album you could happily leave on in the background.
