Megadeth ‎– Sweating Bullets (12″)

From 1993 and the debut on here for Megadeth (I told you it was Rock Week!) SHOCK! (Thanks Fred!) The blue vinyl plays backwards (from the inside out)

The line-up; Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Backing Vocals – Marty Friedman, Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Vocals – Dave Mustaine, (Ex- Metallica) Drums, Backing Vocals – Nick Menza, Bass Guitar, Backing Vocals – David Ellefson

The live tracks were recorded at Cow Palace, San Francisco 4th December 1992. Heavy and hard just wish the crowd noise was lower in the mix. “Ashes In Your Mouth” is what I was hoping to the hear from the start, power chords and dueling guitars. – not a fan of those live vocals *ducks for cover*

So it is on here for the 9 minute Nine Inch Nails mix, exclusive to this 12″ (at the time)It is more than worth it if you like your Industrial Metal ! Reznor keeps the song there adding his own overdubs and then it goes into definite NIN territory. (“Happiness In Slavery”) Weird ending?

  1. Youthanasia Tour in 1995 – State Line (Nevada/California) one of the best shows by them. Mustaine’s voice was excellent!! Have seen them a few times later on. Not in the past 10 years.
