Generation X ‎– Wild Youth (7″)

Debut release from 1977 and some very early Billy Idol. After the Sex Pistols pathed the way for a more commercial Punk Rock the London Punk scene grew. Here Idol was joined by Bass and co-founder – Tony James, Drums – Mark Laff and Guitar – Bob Andrews (later a member of Westworld)

Produced by Phil Wainman it does have a bit of The Who-like sound which has a very deep dub on the B-side which was a nice surprise. A bit Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Tony James had a big hand in this no doubt.

Oh a new file host, let me know what you think.
