A bit of a cheat but it does have 3 letters in it!
As the title says early 90’s Dance stuff from the subscription only DMC label and a variety of artists get the DMC treatment.
Shawn Christopher provides the vocals on the opening track. Classic House with a great breakdown.
Deskee provides some Hip House with Tony Humphries remixing and Tuta Aquino on the edits. Another Classic!
“La Vie En Rose” is given a some chilled beats by Sanny X to compliment the Grace Jones vocal (and also the panting at the end!)
The best remix is Lindy Layton’s “Silly Games” by Michael Gray (one half of Full Intention) Quicker and harder but still with the lush strings.
Now on to “Confusion” (mmmm!) It is shorter and it’s done by Dimitri From Paris. It takes the sequencers but puts a House Beat over it. Jury is out for me on this.
The short (but effective) Indie mix (by Brian Butler) blends the Big Hitter’s of the year but it is far too short.
