The Jam ‎– Town Called Malice / Precious (12″)

No extended remix by Arthur Baker or Martin Rushent. Just a live version of the Number 1 from January 1982, recorded at the Hammersmith Palais, December 14th 1981. Proving, unquestionably how tight a 3 piece they were.

“Precious” does sound like a live version, funk and overdubbed horns provide the depth in the arrangement. The driving force is Bruce Foxton’s deep bass playing..
