Falsetto vocals over an R & B beat from 1988 and from the producer Al B. Sure! (Albert Joseph Brown III) Helped by Kyle West who co-wrote and produced this is on the right side of being not to commercial or cheesy. The “Street Mix” and “Remix” are quite similar with suitably huge drums linked with piano stabs with some great breakdowns. Probably because of the vocals and high level production it reminds me of Scritti Politti.
The B-side, “Noche Y Dia” is the Spanish version of ’87 Hit “Night And Day.”
Timeless New Jack Swing.
