Originally from the London Post Punk scene and founded in 1979 by Scotsman and club promoter Jock McDonald, they immediately rose to fame by covering an entire SEX PISTOLS album “Never Mind The Bollocks” in an electro style. This was an unexpected underground club hit emerged in 1987 at the height of the emerging EBM / Industrial / Goth scene.
Not very PC but interesting with the blend of electronics and guitars. “Son Of A Bitch” is more the dance/dub version remixed by Iain O’Higgins (Death In June) . The lyrics were originally by Serge Gainsborough’s on his song “Harley David.” This being a demented cover.
