Daryl Hall & John Oates ‎– Out Of Touch (Video Mix) (12″)

An Arthur Baker Mix that is under 5 minutes long !!??!!

Well it’s true on this seminal slice of Oates and Hall from 1984 the Video Mix is short but very effective. An alternative listen with added loops and effects. This a cracking little 12″ with the inclusion of Hall’s own track “Everytime You Go Away” which Paul Young covered to give him a huge hit in the following year. Hall gives it more of a bluesy feel with less strident synths.

A little bonus is a mix of “Dance On Your Knees”, The Latin Rascals (Tony Moran and Albert Cabrera) made this, the most amazing example of machine-gun editing, superb stuff !!
