What has it come to lately ?
Yes, Janet Jackson makes an appearance with this very tidy 6 track album of remixes. Showcasing the latest dance track sounds for 1986/7, this contains, predominately, Steve Hodge remixes from the original Jam & Lewis production. So Freestyle beats and an early R & B feel. “Control” was a cracking album by Miss Jackson.
Shep Pettibone gives us a strong remix on “The Pleasure Principle” (Not the Gary Numan track!) Whilst Herb Albert’s trumpet skills can be heard on the laidback groove of “Nasty.”
