Intimate Strangers ‎– Charm (US Vinyl LP)

From the ashes of Raise The Dragon the Scottish duo of Richard Spellman and Sean Lyons (ex-Metro) reformed and released this in 1986 under a different name.

Danceable New Wave would best categorize this, with a nod to Bowie and Bryan Ferry. It was helped by production from Pete Hammond and Anne Dudley (on the slower ones) and some notable musicians appeared on it, Mark Fox and Les Nemes from Haircut 100 both played on this album.

The vocals sound a bit like Colin Hay from Men At Work, especially on lead single “Let Go” which appeared in the film “My Demon Lover”and “Night Of The Creeps”
