Indie guitar stuff from 1985 and the Canadian/London band The Lucy Show. Sounding a bit like a cross between The Cure (especially on bonus LP track “The White Space”) and Teardrop Explodes. Produced with Steve Lovell , it’s quite atmospheric and intricate stuff. “Leonardo De Vinci” (from 1983) see’s some synth getting more of a spotlight, a bit of a B-side gem and the pick of the tracks.
For fans of the more discerning 80’s guitar pop, think The Sound and The Chameleons and other lost bands of the 80’s.
