More Indie from the mid 80’s and this anthem from The Icicle Works. Again not holding back on the full production by Hugh Jones and Martin Lawrence. Drummer Chris Sharrock, joined the L.A.’s,the Lightning Seeds, World Party, Robbie Williams band and even worked with Oasis. His work on the live track, “Nirvana” is breathtaking.
B-side “The Atheist” has some great lyrics with a melancholic acoustic strum. “Nirvana” (the closing track from their debut album) well what can I say, a live rock out recorded for the King Biscuit Flower Hour Show from the Paradise Club, Boston, Massachusetts.
Should have been massive!
