Latin Quarter ‎– Modern Times (US Promo 12″)

Political reggae pop from Latin Quarter from 1986 and a very anti-US ditty! Even with a the content matter this is far more commercial then “Radio Africa” Quite synthpop in places and very, very rare. Probably because it was produced by Pete Hammond (like the samples!) An Anti-Trump song????

Latin Quarter were a British band, founded by Steve Skaith, Mike Jones and Richard Wright in 1983. They first split up in 1990, rejoined around 1993 and finally split up in 1998.
