Never knew that Vince Clarke had remixed Betty Boo, or Fatboy Slim (Norman Cook) for that matter. The Boo image had been firmly established, a bit of a 60’s stylised Bond Girl and it’s everywhere on this Special 12″.
Vince Clarke nearly turns it into a tribute to “Popcorn” whilst Cook turns it into a Swing beat jazz track with an immense bass. Reminds me a bit of Paula Abdul.
Our first Megamix for a while is the bonus track, done by Streets Ahead, including this track, “I Can’t Dance To That Music”,”Doin’ The Do” and “Where Are You Baby?”
