Greg Kihn – Lucky (12″)

American singer released this comeback single in 1985 tapping it to funk and synth sound of Hall And Oates. From the album “Citizen Kihn” it was written with fellow band member, bassist Steven Wright and produced by Matthew King Kaufman, with the remixes by Paul Sabu and Rusty Garner who really bring out the synths.

Exclusive B-side, “Sad Situation”, keeps up the Pop Rock sound, with catchy riffs and a singalong chorus.

As picking up vinyl from Second Hand shops is always a bit of a lottery. I’ve provided a treated/cleaned up version of both mixes.
