These were an early 1980’s British latin/jazz/pop group who disbanded in 1984. Some went on to form Matt Bianco. Led by singer/lyricist and cover designer Chris Sullivan, originally the group were a six-piece: Sullivan, Christos Tolera (vocals), Mark Reilly (guitars), Mike Lloyd Bynoe a.k.a. “Choco Mick” (drums and timbales), Kito Poncioni (bass) and Geraldo D’Arbilly (percussion).
This was the band’s follow-up single to minor hit “Me And Mr. Sanchez”; “Klactoveesedstein” was released in 1982 and produced by Godley and Creme. Nigel Mills provided the mix on the B-side.

The immediate follow-up was “The Heavens Are Crying” this time produced by Clive Langer & Alan Winstanley, so sounding a bit like Madness in places. Like the previous single the track is given long separate mixes. (both around 10 mins long!!!) A great jazz/funk work out!!
