Sector 27 – Excalibur (12″)

So originally formed by Tom Robinson! The trio, at the time, featured Martin “Red” Broad, (drums) Jo Burt (Bass & Vocals) and Stevie Blanchard (Guitar & Vocals) All electro drums, loud synths and a bit of vocoder over some light rock guitar licks. The A-side was produced and mixed by Phil Harding, giving it a more electronic edge. Suitably New Wave funkiness are evident on the 2 B-side tracks produced by Kit Woolven (Thin Lizzy) “Christopher Calling” is a the better of the tracks, some interesting sounds.
