In Camera – Final Achievement / Die Laughing (7″)

Post Punk edginess, appearing on the 4AD label in 1980. A Rare 7″ from the quartet of David Steiner, (singer) guitarist Andrew Gray (later in the Wolfgang Press), bassist Pete Moore and drummer Jeff Wilmott. If you like P.I.L. and Joy Division you’ll love this. The London post-punkers came to Ivo’s attention when they opened a show for Bauhaus. Uncompromising and challenging with ear piercing feedback on “Find Achievement” with the simple but driving bass and manic vocals on “Die Laughing.” The tracks were recorded at the legendary Blackwing Studio with equally legendary Eric Radcliffe and John Fryer engineering.

  1. A great slice of post-punk apple pie. Newcomers to this band who like the old 80’s post punk sound owe to themselves to get acquainted. This has been released recently in a fabulous compilation of ALL of their releases on one set.
