Twisted synthpop from the weird and wonderful Nina Hagen. Operatic and off-kilter in a Freddie Mercury sort of way, it is classic Nina. A cover of an old German song about Zarah Leander, a Swedish singer and actress, employed by the Nazi’s. This of interest to synth fans as it was produced by Giorgio Moroder and Keith Forsey and remixed by Lotti Golden (Arthur Baker collaborator) and Richard Scher. Tight sequencer and drum machines and kraftwerk elements on the dub.
