Nia Peeples – I Know How (To Make You Love Me) (US 12″)

Another TV actress turned singer in the style – (think the Minogue Sisters.) From 1988 and more your commercial dance pop and sounding a little bit generic. The first 3 tracks are mixed by Aldo Marin (Nitro Deluxe) giving it more of a retro synth wash but still with a freestyle vibe, Kurtis Blow providing a rap midway through. Not a fan of the vocals so thank god for the Dub πŸ™‚Β Dave O’grin mixes the last 2 and turns it into a freestyle groover, tighter bass and that bloody sampled metal guitar!!! B-side is even more of a rock ballad, “For The Sake Of Loving” my ears bleed with those grating vocals!
