The The ‎– Gravitate To Me (12″)

Had to check if this was 80’s and yes it was July 1989. Powerful stuff from the “Mind Bomb” album which see’s Matt Johnson work with The Smith’s Johnny Marr. A reggae type groove with the distinct harmonica riff. Francois Kevorkian and Goh Hotoda get there hands on the dance mix stripping everything back.

The B-side is from the album has a fabulous drum attack and plenty of wha wha from Marr and a Fat bass sound from Warne Livesey; with Mark Feltham on harmonica.

God is evil, God is love
God is the force that possesses us
God is beauty, God is truth
God is the force that is watching over you
