Y -Key Operators – Demascia

A little break from the 80’s stuff and over to my good friends the Y-Key Operators. They have released a re-recorded version of their classic track “Demascia” for your listening pleasure on Soundcloud. Produced by Chris Oliver from chameleons Vox and Byron P James. Mastering was done by Martin Desai.

I put up “Oxygen” the other month and got some appreciative comments, this is a bit more a synth monster, blending indie dance with some social commentary. Share the love and comments appreciated. It will cure any hangover!

  1. Definitely on the right track with another awesome sounding song! New Oder-ish sounding someone mentioned on the last song blogged, could be, maybe! The voice and music have distinct sounds, sounding really, really good!!

I just can’t bring thoughts to writing a similarity from past groups (Still, I know!!) to compare them but they know what they are doing and hope the album release is not too far away (Guys, don’t rush)!!! A touch of Slow Children (Group)-ish musically with some other early new wave bands just to start a compare … mmm (I’ll come up with more group comparisons soon…)

  2. two great sounding bands from the same family, must have something in the genes
