Fad Gadget – I Discover Love (12″)

faddd

Swinging it with dearly missed Mr. Tovey circa 1983, in a Mutant Disco kind of style. Real double bass by Dave Rogers (who formed Mute Drivers many years later) and an actual brass ensemble. Rowland S Howard (The Birthday Party, Crime and The City Solution) provides the discordant guitar with Joni Sackett providing the accompanying female vocals. Different but still dark here in the extended version. “Lemming Stomp” an instrumental seems an outtake from “Gag” using the bass from “Ideal World”
