Robert Palmer ‎– Every Kinda People (12″)

A re-release of the 1977 classic with a 3 remixes for 1991. Nice to hear that even Mike can get a “well loved” piece of wax, (it does have a little bit of surface noise!) Originally written by Andy Fraser (original bassist from Free) Released as a re-mixed version from his 1992 compilation album Addictions: Volume II. Faithfully polished up by Steve Anderson (Brothers In Rhythm) adding some extra sax on the “Inspirit Mix” and slowing everything down on the near beat-less “Inspirational Mix” featuring Palmer’s distinct voice high in the mix. The “Reproduction Extended”, by Anna Jolley, Brian Harris and Mark Jolley, is the most different of all the mixes, bigger beats and a different bassline.
