Ofra Haza ‎– Da’Ale Da’Ale (You Are My Angel) (US Promo 12″)

A massive international artist who only came to Western attention through a sample of her song “Im Nin’alu”appearing on rap record, “Paid In Full” by Erik B and Rakim. Israeli singer and actress Ofra Haza had huge back catalogue and made numerous collaborations including on the re-release of “Temple Of Love” by Sisters Of Mercy. She sadly died of AIDS in 2000 at the age of 42.

This is from 1989 and quite an ear trembling trebley recording it is. Razormaid’s Joseph Watt provides the remixes on this an essentially a eurodance tune. However, the “Power Flange” is almost acid house.
