Cowboy Junkies ‎– Sun Comes Up, It’s Tuesday Morning (12″)

No extended mixes on these boyos.

From 1990 and featuring the sultry voice of Margo Timmins. County tinged and acoustica, this is stripped down strummings from a Canadian band , the Cowboy Junkies. The brothers-and-sister team of Margo (vocals), Peter (drums) and Michael Timmins (guitar), completed by non-related bassist Alan Anton. This was co-produced with fellow Canadian, Peter Moore. So a touch of folk rock with a twisting ballad The B-side is the haunting “Witches” a claustrophobic , acoustic ballad and a little gem for fans of he!nony nooo and from the album, “The Caution Horses.”

A great little bonus is a cover of Neil Young’s “Powder Finger” adding their own flavour to an already great track.
