George Michael & Queen – Somebody To Love / Killer / Papa Was A Rolling Stone (12″)

Released and combining sounds from a concert (The Freddie Mercury / Aids Awareness Concert from 1992) A huge case of what could have been if those two would have graced the stage!  The B-side is a live cover of Adamski and Seal’s “Killer” and The Temptations Papa “Was A Rolling Stone”. PM Dawn (what ever happened to them?) provide some overdubs/remixes, that all sound exactly the same and are all over 9 minutes long, with some having vocals being faded out of the mix…weird. Taken from the “Five Live E.P.”

To buy this lovely piece of nostalgia would cost you £34 so all hail Mike B!!!

  1. Regarding whatever happened to PM Dawn, Prince B died of complications from renal failure last spring at the age of 46. Prior to that he had suffered a stroke and had been dealing with the aftereffects of that. DJ Minutemix had legal issues and was ousted from the band, a cousin of one of the two owns what is considered PM Dawn now and tours as such, although I think that in a lot of people’s minds Prince B ”was” PM Dawn.
