Pulp – Common People (US Promo 12″)

Keeping the format of dance track, remixed 80’s and an established 90’s acts. Here is Pulp.

From 1995 and the vanguards of Brit Pop where in fact an 80’s band that only got their exposure in the 90’s.

The Motiv 8 remix is a bit of a travesty, turning it into a Gay Disco anthem. The “Vocoda Mix” is just that Jarvis through a vocoder and even more annoying than the Motiv 8, sounding like Moby in places, rave Lite!Thank God the full length version is here with veteran British record producer, Chris Thomas giving it welcome aural boost.

  1. I actually quite adore these remixes – they’re fun and there’s still enough of the parent track left intact. Thanks for posting ’em 🙂
