Sinitta – Cross My Broken Heart (US Promo 12″)

Didn’t know that Sinitta Renet Malone was American, that she was the daughter of disco singer Miquel Brown (who was also in The Three Degrees) and that she was a dancer in Hot Gossip! Did know she was romantically linked to Simon Cowell (who has single-handedly destroyed popular music over the last decade) and bathes regularly in the blood of Virgins to keep her youthful looks.

This was PWL production from 1988 so you know what sound to expect. Catchy but so bland it could Kylie, Sonia, Mel & Kim, Banarama etc……. and it nicks a bit from “The Hustle” by Van McCoy. Phil Hammond makes it sound a bit like Erasure on the “Bicep Mix”

Indulge in your Guilty Pleasures!
