Classix Nouveaux ‎– Never Never Comes (12″)

So much sounding like Japan they might of sued them at the time. From 1983 and off the album “Secrets”, this was produced by Alex Sadkin and sees Nouveaux firmly established as vanguards of the New Romantic movement. Lot’s more synth than their early stuff, although there still is the odd lick of heavy guitar. A funky, extended version of “Manitou” is as camp as I remembered it, with added saxophone.

They were and still are absolutely massive in Eastern Europe.
