Chris Rea – Let’s Dance (12″)

Mainstream late 80’s in Extended form, and one for the Dads!!! From 1987 and riding the wave of his success. Sounding a bit like “Walk Of Life” by Dire Straits it is catchy little rocker. Produced by Rea and Stewart Eales. The 12″ mix keeps the Glam drums and uses the country-tinged riff really well. It takes about two minutes to build up and bizarrely has very little of those distinct vocals until right to the end.

B-side, “I Don’t Care Anymore” is a little gem of an acoustic number, very poignant considering Rea’s current health problems. Keep Fighting Chris!
