Spandau Ballet ‎– Chant No. 1 (I Don’t Need This Pressure On) (US 12″)

…………And Relax.

So here we are again back in the 80’s were I have about 30 (mostly rare) twelves for you to enjoy from myself and Mike B from loads of different musical genres.

From 1981 and the debut release in the US by Spandau Ballet. The distinct horn section was provided by the British jazz/soul group, Beggar and Co (who were part of the Light Of The World larger collective) and adds a club edge to the track. There is even a funky flute and a nice breakdown on the extended mix.

  1. Thanks for this nice 12inch.

  2. Great track and evidence that Spandau took some influence from fellow Blitz-ers Blue Rondo A La Turk…

  3. Had never heard this one, thanks for posting it.
