Kraftwerk – Radioactivity (US 12″)

Very topical at the moment as I’ve managed to get tickets to see them next year in Dublin!!  YAH! The gentlemen that I’m going with managed to see them during this tour to promote “The Mix” album, released in 1991. A couple of singles were released to promote the album, remixed by the likes of William Orbit and François Kevorkian. All the mixes sound timeless, Kevorkian’s more dreamy but very polished. Orbit’s “Hardcore” mix is exclusive to the US release and he even uses a breakbeat, very electro. Kraftwerk’s own mix subtly updates the original.

  1. djjedredy,

Next year in Dublin, NICE!! What Month and that should be a great show! I’m glad I got to see them up close and personal at the Hollywood palladium (small venue- sounded great though) in 1996 (If I remember correctly). It was an absolutely great sounding flawless show, loved how the final encore was mixed as each member left the stage!! Fantastic !!

  2. Thanks for more great shares. Nice to see Lou Reed in there too. Always appreciated.
