A Danielle Dax promo 12″ from 1988 see’s a Middle Eastern influence with sitar sounds and tabla’s on this goth, synthpop ditty. Off the compilation album, “Dark Adapted Eye” this was self produced and engineered with Joseph Watt from Razormaid it comes on a bit like Blancmange-lite, a big change in direction from her Goth Rock, “Cat-house” release. There is still a folk influence in the vocal harmonies and lyrics. A true experimental artist.
