Nick Heyward – Take That Situation (12″)

The man with a bigger chin than Gail Platt from Coronation Street doing a sneaky Haircut 100 tribute via a solo release from 1983.

The short “Rhythm Mix” has latino brass that builds up before the distinct vocals kick in, Aztec Camera must of spluttered on their cornflakes. Their are moments when he does actually sound like Kermit the Frog.

B-sides include an instrumental of the A-side and the even cooler jazz pop of another instrumental “Café Canada” but slower and moodier with added clarinet. So not just a singer but a great guitarist and arranger.
