Fun Boy Three – Our Lips Are Sealed (US 12″)

Another classic with a mix I’d not come across before.

From 1983 and co-written with Jane Weidlin (from the Go – Go’s) and produced by David Byrne this has the 7″ version and the spiced-up (sorry about the pun!) Urdu version sang in Urdu with an hypnotic rhythm.

The “Club Mix” was done with Jeremy Green and it is a treat with a nice bit of toasting (is it Neville Staples or Lynval Golding ?) and using the elements of the Urdu violin as well.  Now to get a set of kettle drums!
