Kiki Dee – Another Day Comes (Another Day Goes) (12″)

Sixties songstress see’s that Dusty Springfield was having a bit of a renaissance with the Pet Shop Boys and decides to join the party. Teaming up with David A. Stewart (and the rest of the Eurythmics backing band) to release this Gospel tinged proto-house track. Helped by additional production by Eric Thorngren, I had to listen carefully to not be confused with Annie Lennox’s voice. This isn’t the very long “Nightmare Mix” which was done by Ian Levine but Eric mix which is slightly lighter and less dance floor orientated. B-side,  “Won’t Make Sense” is proper synthpop and  down tempo.
