Colourbox ‎– Say You (12″)

So onto the other release, this time from 1984, showing a much more reggae influence. It is in fact a cover of a track by Reggae artist, Ken Boothe , from back in 1975. So great sounds and a very large bass sound for ’84.

The B-side is instrumental “Fast Dump” with a few samples thrown in. A song about data-dumping (probably a Yamaha keyboard term) onto cassette. Again pioneering stuff.

All the mixes are different to the single and album versions.

  1. Thanks for the audio treats this week. I was so glad to see the I Feel Love 12″ in there. I haven’t hears that in years.

  2. Thanks for the Colourbox. I just recently pulled a few other 12 inches out from my collection to record. You beat me to the ‘Punch’ on these. Great work as always. Thanks!
