This see’s sole remaining member, Gabi Delgado, going it alone and having one last crack at success in America, tapping into the resurgent industrial /EBM scene of 1987. They had previously re-united for their first English sung album “1st Step To Heaven” in 1987, but split soon after. A medley of tracks is included here. Here he teamed up Klaus Jankuhn, (who was to emerge as techno act Westbam) to produce what is considered the first German “techno” record.
“Gun” is sung/crooned in English with the “Bang!” the go to mix, their is a definite influence of the Spanish Electropunk scene. Not sure about the random stabs of orchestral stabs. The “Powder Keg” mix has a colder bass and is more minimal.
Razormaid get involved with the remixes. Joseph Watt (one of the founders) remix is called “Powder-Keg,” whilst “The First Steps To Heaven” was also done by Razormaid productions. Still very percussive, minimal and sparse with whispered vocals it mixes up four tracks, with the usual overdubs (“mix up”) which Razormaid enjoyed adding.
