The MacManus Gang ‎– A Town Called Big Nothing (12″)

So I picked this up on one of my football away days and bizarrely they were playing Elvis Costello & The Attractions in the vinyl shop, I mentioned this was a Mr Declan Patrick Aloysius Macmanus side project and like most good second hand record shops they didn’t know they had it buried away in the crates, so it became mine, all mine MWhaaH Ha Ha!! (It’s all about the dig)

(The Record Shop was called Swordfish Records in Birmingham and highly recommended…

So this was from Spaghetti Western soundtrack of the Brian Cox film, “Straight to Hell”. Everything is included in the 3 different different versions, “Return To Big Nothing” is my favourite.  So joining Costello in the gang is The Attractions drummer,  Pete Thomas. Steve Hart adds some piano, Dad, Ross , on trumpet and Mrs Costello ,Caitlín O’Riordan, on vocals.
