Going right to the opposite end of the spectrum and this mix of Glam R ock and New Romantic sounds from Sal Solo. Cue operatic vocals, Roto toms and Simmons drums from 1982 and a very early hit for the band that used to be pink band, X-Ray Spex after Polystyrene was replaced by Sal Solo.
Well this is Glam meets synths with the extended version having some really cutting edge sounds for ’82 with added Ultravox piano. Again it’s alright until Sal starts to screech, an acquired taste. The B-side is even more manic and sounds a little dated.
