Dropping the “Tin Tin” and adding a nice blend of guitars to his little pop masterpieces. The “Inversion” mix harks a little to the theme of “Kiss Me” and merely extends the song. B-side could be a The The track with the laidback groove and harmonica. All written and self-produced, he had a definite ear for pop with a sixties pop sensibility, no wonder he went on to write most of Robbie Williams hits.
